The short version: decanon does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising.
None. decanon does not collect any personal information, usage data, identifiers, location data, contacts, or device information.
decanon does not make network requests during normal use. All biblical content and scholarly annotations ship inside the app and are read from the device. The app does not phone home, check for content updates over the network, sync to a cloud, or contact any external server.
decanon stores a single piece of information on your device: a flag indicating whether you have completed the onboarding flow, used to avoid showing the introduction every time the app opens. This flag is local-only, contains no personal information, and is removed when you delete the app.
decanon does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or social-media frameworks. No third party receives any information from your use of decanon.
decanon contains content describing violence, sexual content, and other mature themes drawn directly from the biblical text and from academic scholarship. The app is rated 17+ on the App Store and is not directed at children. decanon does not knowingly collect any data from any user, regardless of age.
If you obtained decanon through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information related to your download, purchase, or device that is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. decanon does not receive that information.
If decanon's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds an optional sync feature — this policy will be updated and the change will be summarized in the app's release notes. Any features that involve data collection will be opt-in.
