How much of the app is free?
The first 10 lessons, in full. That is the whole of the opening course, not a sample of each one. Nothing is time limited, so you can take as long as you like over them.
What does the unlock cost, and is it a subscription?
$9.99, once. It is a single non-recurring purchase that unlocks the remaining 90 lessons and stays unlocked. Unredacted has no subscriptions and no other purchases.
I bought the unlock and it is not showing up.
Open the Progress tab and tap Restore Purchases. That asks the App Store to re-check your Apple Account, which is all that is needed after a reinstall or on a new device. If it still does not appear, email me and include the Apple Account you bought it with.
Does it work on a second device, or for my family?
Yes. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so it carries to your other devices, and it is enabled for Family Sharing.
Does it work offline?
Always. Unredacted never connects to the internet. All content ships inside the app, including the audio narration, which is generated on device rather than streamed.
Is there an account to make?
No. There is no sign-up, no email, no login. Your progress lives on the device.
Will I lose my progress if I reinstall?
Progress, bookmarks, notes and flashcard history live in the app's own storage on the device, so deleting the app deletes them. Your purchase is unaffected and restores as above.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by me. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. If something in the app is broken, email me first and I will try to fix it.
How do you handle accessibility?
The app uses standard SwiftUI text, so Dynamic Type, Bold Text, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion all work. Every lesson also has audio narration. If something reads badly on your setup, tell me and I will fix it.
I found a factual error.
Please tell me, and point me at the source if you have one. Corrections go into the next update and I would rather be corrected than be wrong.
Do you collect any data?
None. Unredacted has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs, and it makes no network requests. See the privacy policy for detail.
